In partnership with World Vision, KNH Contractors successfully designed and constructed a natural solar dryer aimed at reducing post-harvest losses and improving food preservation. This eco-friendly structure harnesses the power of the sun to dry agricultural produce such as fruits, vegetables, and grains — efficiently, hygienically, and without the use of electricity.

The dryer is built using locally available materials and tailored to withstand arid climatic conditions, making it a sustainable solution for food security in Marsabit County.
