This project involved the construction of a natural solar dryer in Nairiwa, Marsabit County, fully funded by World Vision. The dryer was built to help local farmers reduce post-harvest losses and improve the quality of dried produce through safer, cleaner, and more efficient drying methods.
Designed for durability and ease of use, the structure supports the community’s efforts toward food security and income generation — especially in arid and semi-arid environments.
